Rack and Roll
This year, the game is called Rack and Roll. Two alliances, one red and one blue, compete in a match in which robots from three teams per alliance attempt to score goals by hanging tubes onto legs of a large rack in the center of the field. Strategy is imperative in this year's game, because the alliance can score more points if the tubes are arranged in rows and or columns. In addition, to score bonus points, the robots must be elevated 4-11 inches.
Each match is 2 minutes and 15 seconds long. A 15 second autonomous period starts off the match, followed by a two minute period in which both alliances are able to play. The last 15 seconds of the two minute teleoperated period should be devoted to attempting to score the bonus points.
