Team Motto: Failure is Not an Option!

The team for the 2009 season consists of approximately 25 members and 6 faculty members. The groups within the entire team consists of smaller teams specialized by task: construction, deisgn, programming, organization and website maintenance. As the regional approaches, the team may increase in size or members of select groups may move to different groups as needed, to teams such as electric, drive and scouting/strategy.

On January 6th, the team made a trip to Stonybrook University to attend the SBPLI Regional's Annual Kickoff like robotics teams across the world. The team also won SBPLI's contest for an official soundtrack, which will be featured and played at the SBPLI Hofstra Regional.

After the official kickoff, Baldwin Robotics had its own kickoff at the school, where the team munched on food and digested the video of the FIRST robotics competition task for 2009. Everyone pitched in ideas and original design concepts were discussed. Alumni of the team made appearances at the kickoff, and they made a few suggestions as well.
