The triumphs of our team will not be determined by heights our robot will reach or the speed it will attain. Instead, it will be measured by the edification of teamwork, leadership, and responsibility of our entire team. Based on these ideas, and the ideals of FIRST, we will design, construct, and program a robot of phenomenal capabilities. However, far more important than the material aspirations of this competition, is the intellectual growth our members will experience. The dedication required is immense, but the satisfaction of bringing our designs and visions to fruition make the labor worthwhile.

February 9th, 2007
We are live, once again, for the year 2007! It is week 4, and our robot is nearly completely finished with basic construction. Programmers have been working on the code for the drive train and the arm. We hope to complete everything by next week so that we will have enough time to practice with the new robot!
FIRST, or For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology is a non-profit organization that gathers high school students all over the nation to design and build a robot that meets the criteria for the annual FIRST robotics competition. It incorporates the ideals of teamwork, cooperation, and organization, and also teaches kids about engineering, technology, business, marketing, and collaboration.
